Hey friend,
It’s 5:06pm on this gorgeous Thursday afternoon, and I’m literally about to roll my suitcases out the door and make my way over to Toronto! I’M SO EXCITED 🙂
From here in Tampa, it’s a pretty short flight, so in only a few hours I’ll be touching down in Toronto – and I can’t wait!Â
Before I head to the airport, I HAVE A *HUGE* ANNOUNCEMENT:
Today I want to officially introduce you to a new series called, “Light Bulb Moments”.
Light Bulb Moments are short, easily digestible posts that were created because I believe in the power of instant inspiration. These posts were designed to give you an immediate boost of inspiration to keep moving towards your dreams. It could be an inspiring photo, quote, video or anything that will give you that instant sense of satisfaction and motivation.Â
I call today’s Light Bulb Moment “The $7 Failure”.
It’s a 3 minute video that will inspire you to NEVER GIVE UP on your dreams of success, no matter how impossible it may seem.Â
Here’s the back story:
Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) is one of the greatest wrestlers the world has ever seen, but there was a time in his life when he failed, and wanted to give up. In this video he tells you why failure was one of the greatest things to ever happen to him, and why you should never let anything get in the way of your dreams.
Call To Action:
- Leave a comment below. Â
- AÂ simple “YES” or “LOVED IT!” or “KEEP THESE COMING!” will do just fine!
- I just want to hear from you 🙂
Big hugs
xoxo
Alex
Hi Alex!
Loved your new idea of Light Bulb Moments series!
It’s great to have a little extra boost for our motivation and inspiration 🙂
Thank you so much, hope you have lots of fun in Toronto!
Greetings ♥
Keep these coming!!
Enjoy your time in T.O.
This came at a great moment. I’m a freelance graphic & web designer and I had a bad situation with an unhappy client that left me feeling pretty down on myself today. This changed how I’m looking at this particular situation. Thanks!
Hi Ms. Beadon,
I too, also love your new idea of Light Bulb Moments series!
It’s great to have a little extra boost for our motivation and inspiration 🙂
It is going to be a very useful series and I am looking forward to the Light Bulb Moments series, even if I can only watch it on the weekends coming up soon when I start up school again.
Thank you so much, hope you have lots of fun in Toronto!
Greetings ♥
Joshua
I just shared a post about failing and setbacks on Aug. 5th on my page (www.facebook.com/aliciatheresebetancourt)! The post was inspired by Marie Forleo’s video with Dr. Cathy Collautt that she just uploaded this week. As someone commented on my post, “You only fail when you stop trying and give up.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4gK8vZlXW0#t=175. Thanks for sharing as always and have a safe and productive trip in Toronto!
Alex! I am so happy with these “Light Bulb Moments!” Sometimes you just need a little extra pick up through the day, and need to hear some words of inspiration.
Keep up all of the amazing work you do! 🙂
Love this man! Had no idea he has been through so much! We sometimes forget the struggles that freakishly successful people had to overcome. It just shows me that failure is what helps me grow. Thanks so much for sharing this! 🙂 Definitely a mood booster!
Have a safe and fun trip, Alex! 🙂
Excellent – thanks!
I think the universe is trying to tell me something because I received another email today from Bill Barren about the same topic and left this video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuH4sK25AwE Amazing…. #nevergiveup #noexcuses #keepgoing
Great video!! Wonderful lesson! Sometimes the plan we have for ourselves is not the one we are to fulfill. I shared this with my kids (2, 9, 11, and 15) and they were very encouraged!!
Loved it! So true
Loved it! Very inspirational
Awsome! I love seeing stories like this! ^_^ It always gives me a boost 🙂 keep them coming Alex!
That was so interesting to watch! I am excited to see LBM grow!
I really like this idea Alex. Keep ’em coming! Have fun in Toronto 🙂
This is great! I love the idea of this series. Safe travels to Toronto!
I love this idea.
Great choice of Dwayne Johnson as your first entry for this series.
He is a cool and funny guy whose story not only serves as an inspiration, but as an example of keeping yourself genuine and down to earth.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice trip!
Loved it! I’m excited to see where you go with this new feature, I love quick helpful reads! 🙂 I think it was interesting how he was saying in his video that he tirelessly worked for hours everyday at wrestling, and productive work at that. How much better would my photography be if I invested that much time into it? It doesn’t just happen on it’s own!
Alex,
I admire how you take inspiration for your ideas to help us on our way from anyone and everyone. Everyone has multiple things to teach us and you are a great advocate of that. Thanks!
Best,
Julia
That is certainly inspiring! I’ve had my share of failures, but things are looking up lately! Thanks for this morning boost! Have a great time in Toronto! I’m originally from the area, but am now a women of the world!

So excited for your new series!
I love stories like these, but maybe feel it would be nice for a little video edit of you at the beginning to introduce it and at the end for your take away round up’s. I know you’ve done this in writing but feel it may be a little more personal and give it an extra edge to do it on screen 🙂
That struck a cord – failure…
I loved it Alex…he is an inspiration. Thank you.
LOVE it Alex!!! What a great idea!
I loved it. Plus, I love him. I look forward to getting your emails and learning more.
A big YES to these Light bulb moments! These are perfect to start the day with, thanks Alex!
