Ever reach the end of the month, and wonder where it went, and how it flew by so quickly?
Ummmm … yes. Haven’t we all?
And … it sucks.
Because when you think about the last 28 days of February, it’s all a blur. ESPECIALLY as a busy entrepreneur.
So, I decided to do a little bit of investigation. Because – well, why not?
Here’s what I’m proud of this February:
And … WHOA! There you have it.
It’s easy to look back and feel unaccomplished, but if you take the time to look back at the details – a lot can happen in a month.
So, what are YOU proud of this month?
Leave a comment with at least THREE things you are proud of yourself for having completed this month – no matter how big or small!
With love and excitement for March,
Alex

This month I took the leap and invested in new gear for this years wedding season, I produced three uni papers and I gathered the courage to sing in my grandfathers funeral. AND I went to my first pilates class, and thaught my dog a new trick.
@byingeborg:disqus – LOVE that you’ve invested in new gear, that’s so exciting and it’s gonna be so great for the quality of your photos! LOVE IT! What did you upgrade to? Oh I feel your pain about gathering the courage to sing. My uncle recently passed, and I was asked to read something and even that took courage – I can’t imagine having to sing. Good for you! Yay for your first pilates class – and what did you teach your dog? I LOVE teaching Blue new tricks, it’s so much fun 😀
Really excited about my upgrade order: Nikon D800 accompanied with 24-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8 and 85mm 1.4 lenses. CAN’T WAIT! Oh, and it’s my first full frame camera, so I’m feeling a little more pro now!
And I taught my dog to locate pink post-it notes. Eventually I’m sticking them to drawers and cupboards, shaping her into closing them if they’re left open. Maybe useless, but fun!
Oh, and it’s my firs full frame camera, so I’m feeling a little more pro now 😉
Oh my gosh – when you make the change to full frame it’s LIFE CHANGING! Enjoy 🙂 And WOW about the pink post-it notes! That’s such an incredible idea – love the creativity 🙂
I love this post by the way! 🙂 I felt accomplished when we built a huge industrial table from scratch for our bridal show this past week! We bought all the materials from home depot and used power tools, stain, and some elbow grease and it came out better then we could have ever hoped for! 🙂 Thanks for always being so inspiring Alex! 🙂
Whoa – Jessica Van Pelt! Who knew you were so crafty1 I love that you made it yourself, you should have made a video to show the rest of us how to do it 😀 Big hugs to you and thanks for the comment 🙂 <3 xoxo
Hi Alex!! 🙂 We TOTALLY should have done a video!! Next time! 🙂 Until then, I just wanted to share with you that I was so inspired by your post that we did something similar and I’m hoping to keep it up every month! It was so great looking back on all the things that you accomplished, business wise as well as personally! Wow what a great month you have had Alex! This has given me an idea to do on my own blog! In February I am glad to have completed a challenge for my business, created some You Tube videos and got a new hair do! 🙂
@carolinetowers:disqus! Yes – definitely do this on your own blog, its a fab way to celebrate the month and share your wins with your audience 🙂 woop woop! What was your biz challenge this month? I’d love to know! Big hugs and YAY on the new hair do – I just recently went blonde and it liberated me 😀
I’m proud that I had my BEST month to date since staring my writing and editing business last January (http://playle-editorial-services.com). I finished reading ‘Monkeys with Typewriters’ by Scarlet Thomas, which was brilliant and inspiring. And I finally painted my dressing table, which I’ve been meaning to do since November. Go February! And here’s to an even better March 🙂
Congratulations, @sophieplayle:disqus! That is INCREDIBLE news 🙂 Here’s to an awesomely successful March! 🙂
Can you make a video or post on your planners?? 🙂
