Once upon a time there were two extremely similar businesses.
Both businesses were bakeries. Both owners had studied baking at the same school. Both businesses sold cupcakes, cakes, and cookies that were out of this world.
The businesses were, in many ways, indistinguishable.
But here’s where their stories differ:
6 months after opening, one bakery went out of business while the other bakery had a line out the door of people wanting to come in.
Here’s the thing – the bakery that went out of business was missing a critical ingredient (pun intended).
Buzzworthiness: the ability to create a buzz among people and consumers about your business.
Critical to any business that wants to be a success.
It’s what makes the difference between a business spreading like wildfire in people’s minds, and a business being utterly forgettable.
On today’s Chatty Tuesday we’re talking all about BUZZWORTHINESS and how you can turn your business into a buzzness (see what I did there?):
When you’re done watching the video, here’s your Action List:
1) Leave me a comment letting me know what you’re going to do for your business to get the buzz rolling. If you’re not sure yet, just leave a comment saying “Alex, that Chatty Tuesday was __________.” Fill in the blank how you see fit 🙂
2) Your Chatty Challenge for this week is to come up with ONE idea : one thing that you could do to create buzz for your business. Not too hard, right? 🙂
Buzzworthiness isn’t something that comes naturally. If it was – everyone’s business would be buzzed about. But they’re not.
That’s why it’s so important for you to work out how you can make you’re business buzzworthy so it gets the customers it deserves.
Think about the last business you visited who was totally forgettable. Now think about the last time you visited a business where you raved about your experience to your friends. Better yet, think about the last time one of your friends raved to you about a business.
That business had done something to make itself buzzworthy, and that’s exactly what you need to do for your own business.
As always I hope you have an inspired day filled with productivity and love.
I’ll see you next week 🙂
xoxo
Alex
